The 2025 Real Madrid Foundation Football Clinics will benefit more than 1 000 learners and 150 teachers across four regions.

This year’s clinics will be held in Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi region from 19 to 23 May and in Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West region from 26 to 30 May.

Rogerdeltry Kambatuku, national coordinator of the Real Madrid Foundation in Namibia, said the clinics aim to empower boys and girls through sport while training teachers using the Real Madrid Foundation methodology.

“The program is implemented through the Namibia Schools Sport Union, on the one hand, and the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts, and Culture, on the other side, facilitated by the Embassy of Spain in Namibia, thanks to the cooperation agreement between the Real Madrid Foundation and Cadilu Fishing (Pty) Ltd.,” said Kambatuku.

He said Cadilu Fishing continues to support the clinics for the third consecutive year as a financial partner under its corporate social investment policy.

Kambatuku added that the 2025 edition will impact learners and teachers in the Zambezi, Kavango West, Hardap, and Omusati regions.

“During the week, the learners will be exposed to high-quality training from Real Madrid Foundation coaches using the Real Madrid Foundation methodology and local coaches, thereby allowing them to learn basic but fundamental values,” he said.

Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture Dino Ballotti is expected to officially launch the various clinics.

The Real Madrid Foundation operates in 46 countries and has already reached over 40 000 participants globally.
