The Under-14 title went to WAP, who defeated Windhoek Gymnasium, while Windhoek High School placed third.

In another tightly contested match, WAP defeated Roots Gymnasium from Stampriet, but Windhoek Gymnasium came out on top against WAP in the Under-13 final.

The 2025 edition of the league featured more than 85 teams from 30 schools across eight regions.

Capricorn Group Chief Brand and Corporate Affairs Officer Marlize Horn praised the standard of play.

“We are thrilled by the sportsmanship on display this weekend and the quality of netball played. The Capricorn Schools Netball League was established 12 years ago and has, over the years, produced many national netball players. Without a competitive league of this nature, talented players will not get enough exposure to play against other strong players and teams,” she said.

Horn added that the league remains central to the group’s focus on women’s sport.

“The league provides a platform for netball players to develop their skills. Capricorn Group remains committed to the Schools Netball League. The Group has identified women’s sport as a key focus area and apart from its investment in schools’ netball, the Group is also the corporate sponsor of the Capricorn Eagles, Namibia’s national women’s cricket team.”

League chairperson Liezel Garbers also expressed appreciation.

“Thank you to all the schools, players, coaches and parents who committed their time and resources to participate in the League. We are thankful and grateful for the sponsorship of Capricorn Group. They have been a committed partner of netball in Namibia for the past 12 years,” she said.
