Letshego Holdings Namibia Limited (LHN) has appointed Willem Pretorius as its new chief financial officer, effective 27 October 2025, the company announced in a notice on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX).

Pretorius, a Chartered Accountant (Namibia), has over 11 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. He holds qualifications in accounting from Northwest University and the University of South Africa and completed his articles with Ernst & Young Namibia before qualifying as a CA in 2014.

He has held several key roles at Letshego Bank Namibia, including acting CFO, head of treasury, and finance controller. The company said his appointment ensures continuity and stability within the finance department and that he is well-positioned to strengthen Letshego’s financial governance and regulatory compliance.

The LHN board expressed confidence in Pretorius’s leadership and thanked him for his ongoing contributions to the group.

In a separate announcement, Nictus Holdings Limited reported that Ultra Investments (Pty) Ltd, an associate company linked to director PJ de W Tromp, sold 85 000 ordinary shares on 27 October 2025.

The shares were sold at a volume-weighted average price of N$3.0676, with the highest at N$3.15 and the lowest at N$3.05, for a total value of about N$260 750. Simonis Storm Securities (Pty) Ltd, a member of the NSX, acted as sponsor for the transaction.

Meanwhile, Trustco Group Holdings Limited has appointed Dea-Ru (Proprietary) Limited as its new JSE sponsor, effective 1 November 2025.

The move follows the resignation of Vunani Sponsor (Pty) Ltd, which steps down on 31 October 2025.

Trustco’s board said it looks forward to working with Dea-Ru as part of its ongoing commitment to governance and compliance with exchange regulations.

The company also reminded shareholders to update their contact details.

The announcement was issued in Windhoek by Komada Holdings (Pty) Ltd, which provides company secretary and investor relations services to Trustco. Simonis Storm Securities remains Trustco’s sponsor on the NSX.
