Chamwe Kaira Paratus Namibia Holdings (PNH) recorded strong results for the financial year ended 2025, reflecting its transition from a data connectivity provider to a full telecommunications operator, according to Simonis Storm Securities. Revenue rose by 14.6% to N$652 million, driven by recurring connectivity income, growing enterprise services, and the successful launch of its national mobile network in September.  Net profit stood at N$26.6 million, with earnings per share at 26.3 cents. NAC posts N$9.4m profit

Chamwe Kaira The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) recorded a profit after tax of N$9.4 million, driven by its route development strategy that attracted new services from South African Airways, Air Angola, FlySafair, and Discover Airlines.  Increased flight frequencies to Hosea Kutako and Walvis Bay International Airports lifted total passenger numbers to 1.1 million in the 2024/2025 financial year. NAC also reported a 6% rise in revenue to N$540 million and received an unqualified audit opinion for the fourth consecutive year. Mpox outbreak declared in Namibia …first case recorded in Swakopmund linked to cross-border travel 

Justicia Shipena Namibia has confirmed its first mpox case, linked to recent cross-border travel within the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.  The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) declared an outbreak on Sunday after a case was confirmed in Swakopmund over the weekend.  Health minister Esperance Luvindao said the patient is receiving care in isolation at the Swakopmund District Hospital and remains in stable condition.  “In line with World Health Organisation (WHO) protocols, one confirmed case of Mpox constitutes an outbreak,” she said.  She said the ministry's team in the Erongo region are tracing contacts and monitoring potential…
