Clicks ClubCard loyalty members across Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini received N$855 million in cashback over the past year, bringing total rewards paid to customers over the last three decades to N$7.5 billion.

The Clicks ClubCard, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, grew active membership to 12.6 million and contributed 82.6% of total sales at Clicks stores.

The Clicks Group, which operates 27 stores in Namibia, said while improvements in South Africa’s macroeconomic indicators are encouraging for retail spending over the medium term, consumer sentiment and discretionary spending remain under pressure.

The group said it remains well positioned due to its strong presence in the health and beauty sectors, where it holds leading market shares in retail, pharmaceutical wholesale, and distribution.

Clicks plans to open between 40 and 50 stores and an equal number of pharmacies during the 2026 financial year as part of its target to reach 1 200 stores. It also plans to establish 10–15 UniCare specialised pharmacies over the medium term.

Capital expenditure of N$1.2 billion is planned for 2026, with N$662 million allocated to new stores, pharmacies, and the refurbishment of 70 to 80 existing stores.

Another N$594 million will go toward strengthening supply chain systems, IT and infrastructure.

The board of directors has approved a final gross ordinary dividend of 648 cents per share for the period ended 31 August 2025, up from 566 cents in 2024. The dividend will be paid in cash from distributable reserves.

Total dividends for the year rose 14.2% to 886 cents per share. The group generated N$6.6 billion in cash from operations and returned N$2.7 billion to shareholders.

“Clicks Group once again demonstrated the resilience of its core product offering in a constrained trading environment, delivering growth across its strategic pillars of value, convenience, differentiation and personalisation. The group increased diluted headline earnings per share by 14.1% to 1,362 cents and achieved an industry-leading return on equity of 49.2%.”

Clicks reported a 10.7% increase in private label and exclusive brands, which accounted for N$9.7 billion of turnover. The group grew its store base to more than 990 locations after opening a net 55 new stores and expanded its pharmacy network to 780 with 60 new pharmacies opened during the year.
