Dundee Precious Metals donates N$100 000 worth of equipment to COSDEC

The Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Community Trust has donated training equipment valued at N$ 100 900 to the Community Skills Development Center (COSDEC) comprising of hospitality, tourism, and fashion design training equipment yesterday in Tsumeb.

The Community Trust Chairperson, Max Johnson, handed over the donated equipment, highlighting that the support is aligned with one of Dundee Precious Metals core values “We partner with our communities”.

” I do not sleep to dream, but dream to change the world”, he said, while encouraging the trainees to continue working hard to make their dreams come true.

The Community Skills Development Foundation (COSDEF), Tsumeb management and board, Ntema Sihela expressed gratitude towards Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Community Trust for donating training equipment to COSDEC Tsumeb, saying that the donation has made it possible for the centre to endorse its vision and mission to provide relevant practical skills training, to aspiring trainees.

He further said that the centre looks forward to producing the best-trained professionals in the culinary arts, hospitality and tourism, and fashion design fields amongst others.

The donated training equipment includes chaffing dishes, crockery, toaster conveyer, a mobile food griller, and domestic sewing machines which will be used for training purposes.

“This donation from Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Community Trust will contribute to improved skills development in the country”, Sihela said.
