Nedbank Namibia will host its first-ever Future of Business Conference next month at Droombos in Windhoek.
The event targets owner-managed businesses, emerging startups, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on leadership, communication, human resources, and information technology.
The bank announced on Tuesday that the conference aims to equip Namibian entrepreneurs with practical tools and knowledge to grow their businesses and drive innovation.
Keynote speakers will include Nedbank group chief executive officer Jason Quinn, Nedbank Africa Head of Marketing Tatiana Ndlovu, and Aurik Co-Founder Pavlo Phitidis.
“Namibian businesses are the backbone of our economy, and their resilience and innovation are what drive our nation forward. At Nedbank, we believe that empowering Namibian businesses with strategic insight and practical tools is essential for succeeding in a rapidly changing world,’’ said Nedbank Namibia communication manager Selma Kaulinge.
She said the conference will help businesses build confidence and clarity in their strategies, especially in adapting to change.
Kaulinge said the event forms part of Nedbank’s efforts to build a future where local enterprises are proactive, future-ready, and positioned for growth both locally and globally.
“This transformative event, a collaboration with Future Media, Aurik, Droombos, Salt Essential IT, Fly Namibia, and Africa Personnel Services (APS), is designed to equip businesses with vital strategies for success in today’s dynamic economic landscape,” she said.
Future Media chief executive officer Gary Stroebel said owner-managed businesses are key drivers of change in Namibia, and there is a clear need for a dedicated platform to support them.
“The Nedbank Future of Business Conference promises to foster growth, innovation, and strategic resilience within Namibia’s business community, solidifying Nedbank’s dedication to empowering local enterprises,” he said.
