Popular Democratic Movement President McHenry Venaani has urged political party leaders to put aside their differences and work towards the betterment and improvement of the education sector in the country.

Venaani said this while addressing a press conference, reacting to the devastating failure of learners with only about 5000 who made it to tertiary level leaving thousands to ponder upon as to how or where to go from here as well as the shortages of class rooms and dilapidating infrastructures amongst others.

Venaani has since indicated that his party will be conducting grass root consultations with learners to better understand issues they are facing. This he said, is to find amicable ways going forward, which will benefit both the government and learners and teachers by improving the education system and adjusting the new curriculum to better serve the needs of the learners.

Venaani said that he will be extending a courtesy visit state house to meet President Hage Geingob in the coming weeks to expand more on the matter.
