Momentum Metropolitan Namibia has opened its revamped branch in Walvis Bay.

The occasion also marked the company’s 10th anniversary in Walvis Bay. The opening was attended by Walvis Bay mayor Trevino Forbes and Walvis Bay Chamber of Business and Entrepreneurship president Johnny Dauseb.

“Today is more than just a branch opening; it is a celebration of 10 years of partnership with the people of Walvis Bay,” said Denille Roostee, marketing executive at Momentum Metropolitan Namibia.

“We are proud to reaffirm our purpose: to protect and grow our clients’ financial dreams. With our brands, Metropolitan (Together We Can) and Momentum (Your Journey to Success), we walk alongside our clients to build stronger futures. This branch strengthens our ability to serve the community inclusively, offering opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.”

Roostee said the revamped branch represents a renewed effort to strengthen relationships with the community.

“This new branch is not just about bricks and mortar. It is about building trust, fostering inclusivity, and cultivating a sense of community. We carry the responsibility of protecting and growing our clients’ financial dreams, and this revamped space gives us the tools to do so more effectively,” she said.

Dauseb said the investment aligns with Walvis Bay’s goals for development.

“This branch fits perfectly into our strategies for economic diversification, youth development, and inclusive prosperity. As we celebrate this milestone and 10 years of Momentum Metropolitan in Walvis Bay, we recognise this branch as a driver of opportunity, progress, and community growth. Momentum Metropolitan is a true partner in the business sector, and we will continue to advocate, protect, and promote their brand,” he said.

Forbes said the expansion shows confidence in Walvis Bay’s future.

“Momentum Metropolitan’s expansion in Walvis Bay is a clear vote of confidence in our town and its people. Over the past decade, the company has become part of our community. This new branch demonstrates a continued commitment to growth, opportunity, and service. As the municipality, we value partners who help us build an inclusive and prosperous future for all residents of Walvis Bay,” he said.
