Namibia Football Association appoints general secretary

The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Charles Siyauya as its new General Secretary.

This decision, was reached during a recent meeting of the NFA Executive Council held in Gobabis.

Mr. Siyauya’s selection follows an application and interview process, during which his exceptional leadership capabilities and extensive academic background stood out. Holding a Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies, along with a Bachelor of Education, Mr. Siyauya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

With a Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies and a Bachelor of Education under his belt, Mr. Siyauya brings a blend of academic excellence and practical experience to his new role.

“We firmly believe that Mr. Siyauya embodies the qualities required to steer the NFA towards a new chapter of growth and success,” stated NFA President, Mr. Robert Shimooshili. “His vision, coupled with his academic prowess, is poised to elevate Namibian football to unprecedented heights, ensuring its widespread development and enhancing its commercial viability.”

Mr. Shimooshili expressed confidence in Mr. Siyauya’s commitment to supporting all stakeholders within Namibian football, including players, officials, and referees. He emphasized the anticipation of significant achievements under Mr. Siyauya’s leadership.
