NBL relocating depot to Lafrenz

The Namibia Breweries Limited is constantly spreading its wings looking to new ways to develop and improve its service delivery to world class standards.

NBL is relocating its Ruhr Street depot in the Northern Industrial Area to its new 18 Holsten Street address in the Lafrenz Industrial Area, to consolidate its scattered staff across Windhoek under one functional roof.

This was announced today by the NBL Managing Director Marco Wenk during the launch of its new central distribution home craft beverage site in Windhoek.

NBL is known for its quality world renowned beverages for which it received international recognition.

Wenk said NBL has not been spared from the economic headwinds the country has been battling and had been looking for new opportunities ensure that the business runs smoothly.
“When reflecting on the last two years, Covid-19 has put a lot of strain on many businesses, and for us, this is something that we are closely keeping an eye on. And it is for this reason that we feel businesses needs to be celebrated for providing conducive working environment and sustaining the economy”, Wenk emphasized.

The new depot will only be functional to the marketing and promoting departments, while it awaits its legal beverages operating license to be finalized, which is expected to be concluded by the 23rd May 2022.

Wenk also clarified that the production of beer will remain at Ruhr Street, saying that only the depot will relocate once the license is finalised.
