Old Mutual Namibia has officially reopened its newly unified branch in Mariental, marking a key milestone in the company’s service expansion. The reopening took place on 30 October and brought together customers, staff, and members of the Mariental community.
“The reopening signified more than just a physical transformation. It represented a renewed commitment to delivering integrated, customer-centric financial solutions. The new branch now houses both life assurance and short-term insurance services under one roof, streamlining operations and enhancing convenience for customers,” said Old Mutual.
Speaking at the event, Paul-Gordon Guidao-oab, general manager for retail operations and client servicing, said the reopening reflected Old Mutual’s dedication to meeting customer needs.
“This reopening is a testament to our promise to evolve with our customers’ needs. By bringing our services together in one location, we’re not just improving access; we are strengthening relationships. Mariental has always shown us resilience and heart, and we are proud to respond with a space that reflects our shared values and future ambitions.”
The event was attended by Mariental mayor Cherien Kock and members of the Management Committee, highlighting the partnership between Old Mutual and the local community.
The unified branch offers a full range of financial services, including funeral policies, vehicle insurance, retirement planning, and investment solutions. All services are now provided by one team to make customer interactions easier and more efficient.
The event also served as a thank-you to the Mariental community for its continued support. “No matter where life takes you,” Guidao-oab added, “Old Mutual will be right here, every step of the way.”
