N$4.1 million allocated for rural sanitation and development

The Oshikoto Regional Council has allocated N$4.1 million for rural sanitation and development programmes for the 2024/2025 financial year.The decision was made at the council's third meeting held on 8 July 2024.N$3.3 million of the funds will be used to construct 180 toilets in 10 constituencies, including Guinas, Nehale Lya Mpingana, Omuthiya, Eengodi, Okankolo, Omuntele, Onyaanya, Onayena, Oniipa, and Olukonda.
