Tjihozu Combined School from the Kunene region was crowned champions in the men’s football category of the Go Hard or Go Home Tournament last week.
Go Hard or Go Home sports director Rauna Haulu said the 2025 tournament aimed to unite young people through sports and build a sense of community.
“The 2025 tournament celebrated youthful energy, athleticism, and unity – bringing together learners from various schools in friendly but fierce competition. As we drive toward the year’s end, the atmosphere in our sports community is filled with excitement and gratitude. Following the overwhelming success of the Go Hard or Go Home Annual Sports Tournament 2025, we are pleased to announce that planning is already underway for the 2026 edition,” said Haulu.
She praised the participating learners for showing skill, discipline, and sportsmanship.
“The high level of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed by our learners was truly inspiring. The passion they brought to the field and court reminds us why this platform matters. Congratulations to the 2025 champions,” she said.
Meanwhile, Ruacana Vision Secondary School won the women’s football category. Ruacana High School claimed victory in netball, while Haudano Secondary School took the volleyball title.
Haulu thanked all the sponsors, saying their contributions made the tournament possible.
“The success of this year’s tournament would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. We extend heartfelt appreciation to Extreme Tutorial College for sponsoring the netball medals, Tinya Trading CC, Kanailonga Trading CC, Love Station, former learners whose continued support uplifts the next generation, and our sister schools for their participation and cooperation. To all our sponsors, your contributions go far beyond medals and logistics, you are shaping futures and empowering youth through sport,” she said.
She added that the organising team is already preparing for the 2026 edition, with plans to expand participation, improve facilities, and enhance the overall experience.
“We are calling on all schools, clubs, sponsors, and sports lovers to prepare now. Let us unite again, stronger, bolder, and ready to go even harder. Official registration details and tournament dates will be released in due course,” said Haulu.
