Tragic vehicle accident claims three lives

Three young men tragically lost their lives, and another was severely injured when the vehicle they were travelling in, veered off the road and overturned between Karibib and Usakos.

Inspector Ileni Shapumba, head of the Community Affairs Division of the Namibian Police in the Erongo Region, provided an incident report in which it is stated that the tragic accident occurred around 04:00 this morning.

The report indicates that the 21-year-old driver, who tragically died at the crash scene, was driving from Karibib in a white Chevrolet sedan when he lost control of the vehicle. Along with the driver, two other men, aged 20 and 29, also succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

The sole survivor, an 18-year-old boy, sustained severe injuries.

The surviving victim was transported to the nearest hospital to receive emergency medical treatment.
