Brave Warriors Coach Unveils Preliminary Squad

As the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, the Namibian national football team, the Brave Warriors, is gearing up for action under the guidance of Coach Collin Benjamin. In a strategic move, Benjamin has revealed a preliminary squad of 52 players, carefully selected to represent Namibia on the international stage. This squad features a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, all aiming to make a mark in African football.

One notable aspect of Benjamin’s selection process is the inclusion of athletes who recently showcased their talents at the Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup in Gobabis. The goalkeeping department sees the inclusion of Lloyd Kazapua, Edward Maova, Jonas Mateus, Ngatangue Ruhaka, Brango Rukoro, and Rupura Tjambeni, each bringing their unique skills and experience to the squad.
