Struggle stalwart Ida Jimmy !Hâ-Eiros was today laid to rest at Snipriver Farm, Bethanie District, Berseba Constituency. She was conferred the honour of a national heroine and a state funeral by President Nangolo Mbumba. Among the dignitaries who attended the funeral where President Mbumba and Mrs Mbumba, Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila and Mr Amadhila, and former First Lady Madam Monica Geingos.

The Western Cape police are seeking the public's assistance in locating 20-year-old Faith Enkali , a Namibian student at the Cape Town College of Fashion Design. According to reports Enkali, was last seen leaving his student accommodation on Malleson Street in Mowbray in the early hours of Monday, 15 April. Reports suggest Enkali did not inform any of his housemates about his plans for the day before his disappearance. Niël Terblanché Namibia has reaffirmed its stance on the urgent need for reform within the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) while also raising concerns about global justice and equity.
