THE Green Hydrogen Programme, a breakthrough project poised to transform the country’s energy environment, is slated to begin creating the framework of staffing.

Namibia’s Green Hydrogen Commissioner, James Mnyupe said they are ready to start with the process of identifying exceptional talent to solidify the envisioned structure.

“To turn this visionary programme into a resounding success, we are teaming up with Potentia, a renowned hiring agency specialising in identifying exceptional talent. If you are ready to make a lasting impact, bring your expertise to the forefront, and drive innovation,” he said.

Mnyuoe invited professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from various disciplines to join the programme on its exciting journey toward a sustainable future.

“If you are passionate about green energy, innovation, and pioneering change, keep an eye on our communication as we profile eight executive positions within the Green Hydrogen Programme,” he said.

Mnyupe said thoughts on how the programme intends to structure itself will be subject to change and that these views will be shared with the Namibian public going forward.

He added that prospective applicants should familiarise themselves with the intentions of the programme structure.

“Namibia boasts abundant renewable energy resources and an unwavering commitment to sustainability and the programme envisions Namibia as a global leader in green energy production, setting an example for sustainable development world-wide,” he said.

He added that the program aims to harness the incredible potential of green hydrogen as a cornerstone of Namibia’s sustainable energy mix.

“By leveraging renewable resources, we are committed to driving economic growth, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring energy security for generations to come,” he said.

Mnyupe said that the programme intends to outline the profiles of various prospective role players that will join it on over the next few weeks.

“We are looking forward to collaborating with you to shape a cleaner, brighter, and more sustainable future together,” he said.
