NAMDIA, through The NAMDIA Foundation has pledged to stand together with the nation in the fight against COVID 19.

As part of the company’s continuing commitment and efforts, it partnered up with MTC in the Knockout Project 2020.

The project’s goal is to raise N$ 1.5 million aimed at addressing and tackling one of our country’s growing social ills, homelessness.

“The outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic has exposed the weaknesses and imbalances of our society, with the vulnerable being most at risk and most adversely effected. We are thrilled to be endorsing one of Namibia’s most prominent media personalities Che Ulenga who will be performing 2 hit songs of the talented songstress Sally Boss Madam,” NAMDIA Spokesperson, Beverley Coussement said.

Last year (2019), NAMDIA also partnered up with MTC in their Knockout Project against Gender Based Violence (GBV), which raised N$980 000.00.

Thus far, The NAMDIA Foundation has pledging N$ 2 million, which was distributed to various projects and initiatives, all aimed at tackling the adverse effects of COVID-19, with the latest one being a N$ 50 000.00 donation to the Round Table Walvisbay to assist them in their Twaloloka recovery initiative.

“We encourage other organizations to join this project, because together we can achieve great things and change the lives of our fellow countrymen.”
