Martin Endjala Karasburg Mayor, Maria Veldskoen and her political colleagues in the town council were allegedly instructed by their political party not to respond to a letter from Urban and Rural Development Minister, Erastus Uutoni. Last week, Uutoni penned a letter to Veldskoen, requesting her and other members of the council to reverse various decisions they took without due process and report back to him on 8 September 2023. Hertta-Maria Amutenja The City of Windhoek(CoW) Council has yet again failed to elect two additional members to the Management Committee, at a special meeting that was scheduled to take place this evening. The meeting has since been postponed to 2 March 2023, a day before the deadline set by Minister of Rural and Urban Development, Erastus Uutoni.
