Nampower postpones Kombat power cut

Eba Kandovazu NAMPOWER has made a u-turn on its decision last week to disconnect electricity supply to Kombat today, because of a N$29 million outstanding debt from Congo Namibia Trading. Nampower says the disconnection will now be carried out on 11 March in the morning. The former Kombat mine owners, Congo Namibia Trading, who received bulk electricity supply from Nampower, were also supplying the village using the same supply point as the Kombat mine.
