Tujoromajo Kasuto AUDITOR General (AG) Junias Kandjeke has given Omaheke Regional Council an adverse audit opinion for failing to present him with a fair reflection of the entity’s financial transactions for the financial year ended 31 March 2018. Omaheke CRO suspension lifted

Staff Writer This week, the Omaheke Regional Council lifted the suspension of Chief Regional Officer (CRFO) Maria Vaendwanawa. She will resume her duties on 3 August. Vaendwanawa was suspended last year. This followed allegations of corruption and mismanagement at the regional council.
