Rookoppies electrified

Steve Nashama The Karasburg East Constituency Councilor, Anseline Beukes on Tuesday handed over rural electrification connections worth N$ 1.9 million at Rooikoppies and Witdrift Warmbad rural areas, for the benefit of 18 households. The electrification includes street lighting services. In an interview with the Windhoek Observer, the Landless People’s Movement Councilor said that more than N$ 3.5 million was so far spent on rural electrification infrastructure. This includes rural sanitation projects. The same areas, she said were beneficiaries and 50 toilets were also constructed.
