The University of Namibia (UNAM), on Tuesday, promoted Lesley Blaauw to full professor in political studies and social activist, Job Amupanda to associate professor from the rank of senior lecturer in the same department. At the age of 36, Amupanda became Namibia's youngest associate professor. City of Windhoek in its congratulatory message issued on Wednesday. Commended Amupanda, on his commitment to academic excellence and advancing political studies. "We at CoW are proud of his accomplishments and recognition he has achieved within the academic fraternity," read the message. Amupanda is a local authority councillor at the CoW.
